4/9/2023 0 Comments Drakengard 3 dlc music![]() The Drakengard universe has a tendency to suffer from world-ending events often. An entirely new Drakengard game could finally continue the story of the world, regardless of whether it takes the form of a prequel, sequel, interquel, or alternate history version of the original. However, now that more people are “in” to the NieR/ Drakengard multiverse, it is prime time for Yoko Taro to revisit Drakengard. Remakes of the older Drakengard’s would be excellent, and older fans would be very pleased with them finally losing much of what made them difficult to play. The dragon gameplay would once again need to be remade, and, of course, Drakengard 3’s infamously poor framerate would finally be improved. A lot of this would be kept in a remake, but it would need another revision to truly push it to the greatness it was aspiring towards. The protagonist Zero being able to switch weapons on the fly and occasionally access a hyper mode that lets her move extremely fast certainly helped. An effort was made to make Drakengard 3 play like a faster version of the first NieR. However, the gameplay could use some extra work. ![]() The third Drakengard was released after the first NieR, so the voicework and translation aren’t as much of an issue. The first two games would also benefit from tightened scripts and revised voice acting. Having what is supposed to be like an aerial combat simulator routinely compared to a rhythm game probably means something is going wrong. ![]() Or “Pascal.” Whatever floats your android boat.A remake could make large-scale battles feel suitably epic, and could give the dragon gameplay a much-needed overhaul to remove its many frustrating elements. Jam out to that good-ass depression orchestra music. So if you’re looking for a twist on your favorites, it’s sure to be out there.īut if you were looking for the actual NieR: Automata soundtrack and not one of the “bootlegs,” it’s your lucky day. There’s everything from piano to metal out there. One Spotify playlist compiles the best of the best into one convenient location. And there are plenty of great ones out there! Thankfully, Square Enix doesn’t seem too hurt about them existing, which is great because video game musician fans are often really goddamn talented. In lieu of official tracks, fans picked up the pace with their own covers. (One fan threw them all into one playlist.) Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts has no such luck, minus the Utada Hikaru themes. Yes, Square even uploaded every single track from Final Fantasy 14, the MMORPG with the immensely deep soundtrack. Back in June, Square released every mainline Final Fantasy game’s soundtrack onto Spotify. Plenty of Final Fantasy tunes were available on the now-defunct iTunes for years. Square Enix has been fairly decent about putting a number of its soundtracks on music platforms. The FF14 Version of this NieR: Automata Song F**king Rules.Sony Announces Live-Action Final Fantasy XIV Series from ‘The Expanse’ Production Company.Why Drakengard 3 is the Perfect Game For Troubled Times.After all, there’s nothing to catch you in your feels like the credits version of “Weight of the World.” However, while Spotify can’t adjust on the fly based on how hard you’re doing your homework, the soundtrack gets you close enough to the emotional ride of NieR: Automata. Even on YouTube, fans uploaded separate versions of popular songs based on intensity and presence of vocals. After all, part of its power is how the soundtrack swells and backs down through your experiences. It’s hard to capture the magic of NieR: Automata’s dynamic music design on Spotify. Sadly, the music experience isn’t perfect between the soundtrack version and the in-game experience. The incredible music helped solidify Nier: Automata as one of the most influential JRPGs of the 2010s. ![]() For Automata, Keiichi Okabe and Keigo Hoashi head most of the tracks, bringing haunting and powerful vocals together with a variety of instruments and styles. They also put up the soundtrack for the original NieR game(s?), which came out ten years ago this year.Įven if you’re not a fan of the NieR soundtracks, both are pretty freaking gorgeous soundtracks. Now, you don’t have to pause your Spotify to get the NieR: Automata soundtrack going, because Square Enix and PlatinumGames put most - likely all, even - of the soundtrack on Spotify. Thanks to Square Enix, the latest is likely a big deal to any fan of orchestral music and/or JRPGs. Slowly, video game publishers are making it easier to not turn to YouTube for your video game soundtrack needs. ![]()
